Wow! What a year! Castro Martial Arts Center opened its doors on February 22, 2021 and the support and continue to build with each passing day…and we are grateful! We are currently housed at 2145 West Broad Street in Athens, Georgia; this facility affords us so many opportunities — including a workout facility for our parents to use while their children are in class.
When one thinks of first birthdays, you reflect on the milestones accomplished during that first year. Our milestones include so much, from a successful summer camp to several workshops with renowned martial artists to continuing staff development and growth for our instructional team.
On 2.22.22 “Twos-Day”, we celebrated our birthday with students and cupcakes as well as initiating a month long program for anyone interested in joining us at CMAC. For only $1, a non-member can enjoy an introductory class — help us pass the word.
Additionally, we have several programs that continue to expand and serve our CMAC family and the Athens community. We invite you to visit our website frequently as events and programs continue to evolve. Our website has undergone recent renovations and we are hoping to build our internet presence there and on social media and WE NEED YOUR HELP! It would help us so much to receive positive Google reviews; that’s one way of letting the global community know how great our school and programs are.
